I agree with Chris.....LED's are the future of TV viewing. They are the brightest and have the best contrast, plus they will have longer hrs of life.

I used to think I wanted a projection DLP / LCD ....but the truth is they aren't very good images. Also you need to have a very dark room to see it clearly and the Projection bulbs will fade in color temp & brightness during it's life span.

Better off with a newer LCD / LED / or what ever is out that time.

Plasma's are very over rated and almost OLD technology nowadays.

 

I agree we have lcds, plasmas and a dlp and it all depends what and where you're watching. The next tv I buy will be an LED though they look the best.

Anybody know where I can get a good deal on an Alpine m500 at a local place? Otherwise I'll probably be going to car toys so I can buy it (and the wiring kit) and get everything I have installed at the same time. Price of Amp, wiring, and installation comes out to be about $430 altogether, which isn't all that bad, but I'm sure I could save a few bucks, right?

BearJew - are you going to be runnng off your stock head unit? Does the price quote include the line out converter and all wiring for the amp?

Oh and if you don't have to have it today... they can be had on eBay for $140ish.

I have - some were making fun (cause they think "it will be different than the movies" and he just might get his a$$ handed to him) - I highly doubt that though.

Then others were like - I cant wait to see him take down some foos that even attempt to attack him (its TV - they will throw that in for the sake of it)..

Ive only seen one segal movie...I think he was a chef on some ship or something - I fell asleep.. I should have watched more..
