so now christine wants a short shifter, but hasn't driven a Z with one and is unsure as to how it'd feel, would anyone close to us be generous enough to let her take your short shifter equipped Z for a short spin?

Not worth it!!! We have a short enough throw as it is, and all of the short shifters make a bit of racket from what I have heard.

But your tires are sexy. The INVO is just decent.

Yikes ! those are insane.

I wouldn't even take the Z out of the Garage if I had those on.

OK so I need some opinions. Should I go for a clutch/flywheel or a 4.08 final drive? I've researched the HELL out of it lol. I think I've read through a million threads on it lol. Any of you guys have insight on this?

I LOL'D

Short shifters are a waste IMO. The z already has really short throws.

BWAHA. heyoooo

I suppose, my only complaint is that the throws are a little notchy if you will, and I was thinking that a short throw might fix some of that up a small bit. A transmission flush is in order then.

Woo hoo!!!! I got all the funds for the new tires so first thing tomorrow morning I am getting them put on.

P.S. I don't know why I am excited about paying $400 for two tires.

well those are two different mods for different uses...........

what are your plans? why do you want them?

autoX, track time, etc??

or just for some fun spirited driving on a daily Z?

NugeTRON,

I've got a clutch/flywheel combo that makes the Z SOOO much more fun and responsive than stock. If I keep the Z I'll eventually add the 4.08 FD and really have fun.
