The classy lady from Ginza expects fine dining, along the lines of coque au vin, seared fois grois, beef tenderloin and the finest bottles of French Cabernet. Taste, budget and willingness are required to keep such a lady.
But the Chinese *****'s fanboys can barely afford 99 cent tacos from Jack in the Box, so such an exquisite and tasteful palate is out of the question. The Chinese *****'s hunger pangs are easily satisfied, with those aforementioned 99 cent Jack in the Box tacos, cheap sodas from vending machines in front of supermarkets and Church's Fried Chicken.
Thanks to some keen eyeballs, the newest Chinese ***** in town has been identified. Her name is "XO2 True Dual Exhaust."

either way gears or wheels and tires if the wheels and tires are also a performance upgrade.. i think Z-Ya could forgive you if you got some light weight 18's like the RPF1's with some sticky tires. but if you go the route of 19's with horrible offsets and stretched tires, we will disown you nuge!!

My car is stick on the outside except for the stupid mirrors I have on it cuz I couldn't afford to replace the factory mirror when I broke it. I kinda like my factory wheels and I was thinking about just lowering the car and putting spacers on it, I just didn't k ow how it would look so I never got around to it. Even my exhaust looks stock ish. I just have the magnaflow 4" exhaust tips on it that look like better versions of the stock tips. Just a loud and in my opinion, a very good sounding exhaust, is the only way you can tell mine isn't stock. That and if you listen to the flywheel chatter from the lightweight flywheel, one would assume that I have upgraded my clutch, which I have and I love it.

Wow I got a lot more responses than I had thought lol
Oh no doubt the gears and lsd would be more for performance and that is true I do already have the gears. I just want some tires lol I hate the tiny 225s and 245s I already have crappy traction in first without gears I can't imagine it with gears. I'll probably end up going the diff route, but I see wheels and tires in the near future.
Yeah I hate the touring 18s they look terrible
I'm thinking 19 TE37s +15 offset (need to clear the brembos) or something along those lines. The only problem with buying expensive wheels is I DD my z so they would get pretty beat up over time . I would never do that hellaflush crap! 255 front 295 or 305 rear. I want meaty tires
Well the gears and all the rebuild parts were about $800, the lsd is going to be about $1400 and then the diff cover, solid mounts, fluid and labor. It came up to be about $2500 without labor.
DO THE DIFF GEARS AND LSD!!! Its hands down the best bang for the buck performance mod you will ever do................especially over wheels.
how is this even a consideration, i fail hard to see........
HANDS DOWN THE LSD IS THE BEST PRICEY MOD IVE EVER DONE!
In order it would be:
1. LSD
2. Coilovers
3. clutch
all else is fine tuning......and comes with time...
I say this "knowing" that your an AUTOX guy........your into tracking, etc.....i see you at events and know you'll benefit from it greatly..........wheels can be had anytime, deals pop up left and right on the forums, but the LSD deals are never there, plus you have the gears sitting there begg'n to be put in!!

lol no I haven't even talked to them about any of this. I actually got the build list from Jason (Z-Ya). I found a decent deal on the Cusco RS 1.5 way LSD but it is still over $1300 . It is just a lot of parts is all. The rebuild parts are all Nissan OEM and they charge a ******** for everything lol.

Ya I got my necessities out of they way (clutch and tires) before I move into my new apartment on november 1st because I'm not gonna have anywhere near the amount of money laying around anymore. I'll be lucky if I even have the spare cash to buy the jwt popcharger that I want. I need to get my tranny rebuilt but I'm just gonna have to baby it for now until I have the money. Damn 04 cd008's and their crap synchros.
