^ Nice of you to stop and make sure the driver was OK. Not many people like that these days. When I was changing my blown out tire in the 6 degree weather on a dark highway nobody stopped to help (well, cops stopped and were extremely helpful.. my only positive experience with popos).

No, and because it doesn't count, I'm willing to trade you my snow tires for those. What do you say?
I see what you did there...
A big WHEEEW ! for me. Discount cut me a break on a new rim, went to triple A muffler they put it on the rack and except for toe align front, rear passenger side it all checked out. No damage to the front end !!!!! I'm sooo happy ! I just can't wait for this bull ice and snow to disappear !

Glad to hear it.---------
I'm gonna get the Z out of the Garage tomorrow for a quick drive around the block...just to get her all warm and the fluids moving around.
RF....I have read good things about those RT- 615 k's....How are they doing for you ? And how is the price on a set ?
Okay team... scooped up a nismo muffler only to find out it won't bolt up to the stock mid pipe. suggestions? Werd on the street is to go custom. Thoughts on where to go to get that done or how much that even costs?
BTW - my car is FIXED!
swapped out the slave for the clutch and still had a leak
SUCKED doing this on the street on ICE, water dripping everywhere...clutch fluid dripping everywher...I was wearing a trashbag and my girl was laughing and sed I look like a california raisin.
I'm gonna try out nitto nt05's. From what I hear they are supposed to be a very good and cheaper alternative to the 615k. Anybody have any experience with them? Chris? (three five zero)
just let me try to see if it fits..I could have sworn it bolted right up...SRS..let the weather ease up some and I will take a gander at it..

My recommendation is to get a custom mid-pipe fabricated at a local exhaust shop. Keep in mind that the way they bend the piping differs from shop to shop. Honestly, it really doesn't matter which type in the grand scheme of things.

No, sir, I wish I could help, but I have no experience with either. I will say that I personally have lost my faith in Nittos after trying a couple of their line ups and being disappointed with them. There are other good brands out there that come highly recommended, although I'm not sure of the price or the exact model.
Nismo muffler for the HR Nismos will bolt up to the stock pipe as that's the stock configuration. If you got the Nismo S-tune muffler, which is part of a catback, then they won't mate (wrong length, angle, positioning, etc).

I personally went to Pronto Muffler in Plano off of 75 (and many other people too) as they had the best rates (basically tip the guy who did the work and that's it... but they no longer do that and just charge you now).
If you want top quality (and $$$), then Brink Racecraft is recommended. I had my titanium exhaust tig welded there and was top notch.
Be sure to ask what material they have/use for exhaust piping. You want it to last and not rust. Also, tell them exactly how you want the piping done and how much ground clearance you want, or they'll do whatever's easiest for them. Oh, and don't forget about hangers.
