350z Accident
I got hit in the same spot. my mine was bit worse but once the bumper was replaced it looked good as new. thank god the bumper took most of the hit.

hey, it happens to us all... I got rear ended in traffic in Houston the first week I had my Z
To top things off 4 days prior I had just come back from Iraq. What does the po-po do? Nothing...apparently his paint on my bumper and my paint on his bumper isn't enough proof?
Sucks bad. Hope you have better luck getting it fixed that I do.

Dude that doesnt look bad at all...to really get a feel for how bad it is, you would need to remove the bumper and check out if the aluminum beam corner is hit and if any of the steel stamped sheet metal rear trunk corner is damaged, etc....
1. are you going to claim this on your insurance and have a shop fix it, or are you looking for a shop and you gonna pay out of pocket??
if you want, bring it over to my place and we can check it all out, if you plan on repairing it yourself???
I know junk yards with ppw rear bumpers, tail lights, rear bumper beam, everything really and you can simply take the car to body shop to ONLY get the rear quarter panel "kink" you mention taken out........
thats if nothing else is damaged....
can you take off the bumper and take more pics??

Well, if it makes you feel any better...i just curbed the S H E T out of my drivers side front and rear wheels last night.
These wheels remained untouched and flawless until last night, i couldnt even get good sleep because of it.
FYI, my rear bumper has been replaced 3 times because of morons.
