Well I went with the HRE P43SC wheels in Satin Black. 19x9.5 & 19x11. HRE is going to select the offsets to make sure they clear my StopTechs. Looking to run a 255/30-19 & 305/30-19 tire. Any suggestions? Leaning toward the Michelin Pilot Super Sports.
^ Is the color shown the satin black? It looks... brown.
Also, why 255/305?

Good, because that bronze looks nasty. I was never a fan of any sort of brownish colored wheels.
I'd think that with 255/305, you'll be fighting understeer while cornering. Plus, just going by numbers alone, you're increasing (from front to rear) wheel width by 1.5" but increasing the tire width by 2", which would cause them tires to look uneven front to back. Lastly, I think a 255 tire on a 9.5" wheel is too skinny.. unless you're going for the slightly stretched look.. just for the front.

255/285 makes sense when you consider optimal tire height, front-to-back size ratio, and moderate(?) power levels. I understand that with your power increase you want more contact patch, hence the rear width increase. However, the faster you go, the harder your brakes will have to work to stop your car, which is mostly done in the front. Keep in mind that brakes don't mean anything if you don't have the rubber in the front.
Taking everything into consideration, I'd say 265 or 275 for the fronts.

Like I said, brakes don't mean anything if you don't have the rubber on the wheels to back that up.
Well good news and bad... Today I will be ordering the long block.
However I was informed that I can't take my R&R in March. No TX2K12... No Texas Mile... No celebrating my 10th Wedding Anniversary at home with my wife.
Hopefully I'll be home in April now. Almost a full year from seeing the States. Any events in April?

That is the worst news I would like to hear in your shoes...I'm sorry that happened...But I'm glad your strong enough to hang in there. I've been seeing your progress on the Z.....it looks like your doing some awesome mods. I can't wait to see it all complete as you must be also.
I hope you can make it out to an event when you get home.....I would love to see the Z run with us in DFW.
Also, check us out on the DFW VQ AutoX page on Facebook....

Looks like I will be able to stuff a 265/30 & 305/30-19 into my Z's wheel wells. Here is an owner with same wheel sizes running a 275/30 & 305/30; https://my350z.com/forum/8606963-post1033.html

Just got off the phone with PowerFab. Said everything but the HalTech box has arrived. The Tein Comfort Sports are on back order but doesn't look like there will be a problem receiving them on time. The HRE order is going in today. Should hear something back on the offsets soon. The manifolds, turbine housings and, downpipes are back from PolyDyn. Waiting on pictures. The I/C does have some cast parts on it so we're waiting to see what PolyDyn's coating looks like before we send it for coating. The engine is at the machine shop so once PowerFab receives that back, game on! That's it for now.

Goddamn, Rob. I wish I can afford a "pallet of parts."
Are you going to be running spacers in the front? I don't know what the rear is going to look like but that offset doesn't look particularly aggressive, either. I guess it all depends on how much you're dropped as well.
you sure that +34 is going to clear the inner suspension with a 305?
I have 11" rears that were +39 and rubbed on my coilovers. had to add a +12mm spacer.
If you are getting custom wheels, you dont want to have to use spacers. The offsets in the front are terrible as well. I run 9.5 +20 with a 275 with less than 1.5* camber
just saying.... those wheels are alot of money and i think you will be unhappy with the way they fit.
