Default Where to drive for a day?

Hey all,

I've been lucky enough to get the chance to go over to Dallas for a week for training with work.

Anyway this is my first trip to the states and i've always wanted to do some driving while over there. Have hired a camaro SS and have an entire sunday to go exploring.

Just wanted to hear some recommendations on where to go for a drive? Will be there in 2 weeks time (on the 15th).

Thanks!
John

Cool opportunity! Are you only looking for places to just drive around, like country roads? We have plenty of that north of the DFW metroplex. TX isn't exactly known for mountains, or even hills, so much of the roads will be flat, however. If you want to tackle on some mountainous twisties, I think you'd have to go out of state for that.

BTW, we actually have a 350Z meet that a lot of us will be attending on Saturday, March 15th @ 3:00PM. We'll be meeting at a restaurant called Bone Daddy's in Grapevine, TX. Not sure when you'd arrive but if you can, bring your rental Camaro SS to the meet and hang out with us.

Check out the last page of below thread for more info on the upcoming meet:

Just to clarify, it's at 3:00pm and not 2:00pm.

Really miss those old cruises we used to have. It was fun and we were rolling super deep. I remember it was somewhere off of kimball road in the back of flower mound somewhere I think. I'd have to dig up our old cruise thread to find out.
