Huge Texas / Regional Summer Meet!
We have set the time and date.. Lets make this a Texas size event!

well we decided that we want to have a meet in Houston, TX on june 26th @ 11:00 am. if you can make it post in here!!
We are gonna meet at Marqe Entertainment Center in the parking lot @ 11:00am Sat June 26th!!

Im down... Would any dallas/fortworth guys wanna meet up and drive down there together?

Myself, Toykilla and a couple others from another board I cant mention put it together. Its great to see such an interest in this. Cant wait to put some faces with some names. Like I said anyone can attend from any state. Hope to see all you guys there!

Apexi350Z.... you do know that one of the first Z car clubs in America is right here in Houston? The Z Club of Houston www.zcar.org has been around since the '70s. This is a very well organized club that sponsors at least one event every month. The club meets every second Thursday of the month at the BBQ place in the Park Shops downtown.
In fact, the ZCOH is planning to put in a bid to the Z Car Club of Amercia to be the host city for the 2006 National ZCCA Convention. This will be bigger than any Z meet you can imagine... hundreds of cars from all over the country, huge car show with prizes awarded, track events, drag events, who knows what else... and, the club is recruiting new members and looking for people who want to help make the Houston convention a success...
Come out to a meeting sometime... the next one is this Thursday, May 13th.

Sounds like a good plan, but that is a bad area for traffic and roads are horrible, not to mention the drive way angle trying to get into the parking lot.
The parking lot at the Marq-E entertainment center is a bigger lot and smoother roads. They have had previous meetings there.
The Marq-E is off I-10 and Silber, just off the 610 loop. The parking lot in front of the old Van's skate park.

Thats what I have been hearing. We are trying to get a better spot going and will definately put this place into consideration. I am expecting at least 20 cars or more from the responses we have gotten so we do need a spot to accomidate. Trying to get a definate location set up b4 the end of the week.

Just talked with toykilla and we may try to go with another persons suggestion. We need some of you Houston guys help here too since we are unfamiliar with the area. We could either meet at the Marq-E or at Dave and Busters. Im not sure of the location of each or which would be better. Im just going with what others have told me. We would like to go to a place where we could get some food definately and have a good area for parking. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Here is a link to their website so you can see what venues it has to offer. The parking area closest to the feeder of I-10, and the corner of Silber can easily fit 40+ cars. Check it out and any suggestions guys?

if you want to play games, you don't have to goto Dave and Busters.. You can just stay at Mark-E and goto Jillians.
Mark-E square has more space then Galleria, it's might be better for the meet...
