Default Ouch, Ouch, Ouch on I-45

Driving home from the monthly Z Club of Houston Meeting last night in all this CRAZY weather. Got down around League City on I-45 and there were ambulances, wreckers and police EVERYWHERE !

We all went down to one lane, and as we passed, there was a lone, Daytona Blue (Enthusiast, I think) 350Z, that had spun, and pop the wall (repeatedly).

Man, those new Z's really draw a crowd, don't they

Just curious if it was anybody from this forum....and hope they were o.k.

Luckily, mine was tucked away in the garage...but it still sent a shiver down my spine....OUCH !

nmilsaps,
Dude, that really pizzes me off to hear about some drug-enduced, brain-fried, moron doing something like that to such a fine car (actually, any car).

Had my 280ZX T-tops lifted in an apartment complex, years ago when it was new. I remember, on that day, I realized I was actually capable of murder.

Did they do much damage?

Audito350Z....you are a coward (smart, but still a coward)
You know I'm just kidding....that's why I drove the Toyoter last night !

Any damage is more than enough damage to my car. Here's my spill. I live in a gated complex, assigned spot in the garage, got home at 10 pm Saturday night, and went out to my car 10 am Sunday. I was walking up to my car and saw a window on the ground. My first thought was, Damn someone got their window busted. Then I take a look at my car and well, no window. It seems that some ****Face got a screwdriver or a chisel and hit the window right where the window and the top of the door meet. Cracked it, (it was tinted) then just pulled it off, out to the ground. Reached inside grabbed the radar, didn't even open the door (so no alarm) or look at anything else in the car.
There are some scratches on the body (above the window) and some on the black B pillar. Had to get a new window and now I need to get it tinted. I'm out an Escort Solo S2 radar. Wasted sunday waiting for HPD to get their act together. Wasted Monday getting the window fixed.
Insurance estimate - $629 (500 deductable) - Not worth it. So far, I've spent $275 on a new window. I'm out $300 for the radar. A new B Pillar is $60 from the dealer. and I'll just put touch up paint on the scratches on the body.
Also that night a BMW had it's performance wheels swipped.
Sorry so long. (my first rant)
