Default Auto cross events in DFW??

Hey guys,

I'm bored out of my mind at UTD. Anyone know of good auto cross events here in the DFW area?

I think it would be tons of fun!

Autocross in DFW

There are a TON of autocross events here in Texas!
The mineral wells events are a hike, but usually a big fast course. Have not seen too many RX-8 out racing though....

I need to get some 17's to autocross...don't want to be using these heavy 20s on the course.

I go autoxing with the SCCA guys every month, but they're starting to **** me off...If you really wanna have a good time & have a lot of runs, go with the PCA guys, they usually get 8 or more runs in vs. 3-4 with the SCCA.

Well, with a max number of runs being 4, and the amount of time that you HAVE to wait and work, as well as the number of people out there, and how unorganized it is, its just not as fun as a PCA event. Ive been to about 8 SCCA events, 1 PCA event, and 1 NASA event, and out of thsoe three, the PCA people have their stuff together, AND they have good timing equipement. It seems as if the SCCA equipment goes out every 30 min, with a 15 min delay to get it fixed...

BTW, if anyone wants to roll with the group i go with, you are more than welcomed to. We have 1 Evo, 1 RX8, 1 WRX, 1 2nd gen RX7 Turbo II or 88 Prelude, 1 1st gen RX7, and 1 KA-T 240sx as well as my G. Half the fun is the drive up there, and the drive back =)

Lets try to get an many Zs and Gs to enter so we can have our own class. Even if the sponsers don't sanction it, one of us can still have bragging rights
