crawford does not include any gaskets when shipping the cast plenum. the instructions states to reuse the stock one.
but i ended up buying a new throttle body gasket cuz i scrweed mine up.. reused the stock plenum gasket though.
if you are replacing the stock plenum (IM collector) gasket, the service manual states you must replace the IM gasket too
page EM-17
" WARNING: Gasket for intake manifold collector (upper) is secured together ith mounting bolt for intake manifold collector (lower). Thus, even when only asket for upper side is replaced, gasket for lower side must be also replaced."

Just my opinion but once you get your closed loop A/F ratio and timing for the minimum octane (you have available to you) squared away , you don't have to worry about the ECU changing anything on you aside from minor adjustments for the weather. There are quite a few people on here who can get reliable, repeatable results on the dyno every time.
Guess i'm just tired of hearing the ECU being personified like some evil intelligent gremlin that's looking to keep you from making this car fast. Sentry65, I don't mean this negatively at all -- I just think that all this talk of ECU theory is worthless until theres hard data to back it up. Exploring these concepts hypothetically are great, but it won't benefit anyone until you get your hands dirty with some effort and then posting results of experiements with hard diagnostic data (numbers and case examples of your car or others) etc.
Making reliable power from a high tech engine like this takes having all pieces of the puzzle covered. One weak link and you'll lose power, have problems, etc. A good example of this was Chris w/ the E-Manage project he took on. He apparently gave up now after not making the power he wanted, but never listened to my suggestion regarding getting an exhaust. He's got two power adders on the intake side, but it's a well known fact that you won't get the full benefit of 'breather' modifications without uncorking both ends of the engine. Still he refused to acknowledge this and was again dissapointed by his last dyno #'s. It seems like he's given up hope now and quite a few people are spreading word that mods and tuning don't make a difference on this car while staying NA.

i'm getting close. Last dyno was 281 in AZ on 91 octane. East coast people usually dyno higher with higher octane gas, and more at sea level. AZ is around 1500ft above sea level
I'm expecting to gain 4-7whp from going back to regular heat range spark plugs
more hp from fooling my MAF and O2 sensors and tuning, eliminating my mutli-misfire
maybe 2-5hp from the kinetix plenum vs my crawford

Sorry, i've searched and come up with nothing
What is the difference between Lspec and full TS flash?
L SPEC = TB tix, 7100redline, speed cut removed?
Full SPEC = More aggresive Fuel and Timing Mapping? w/ above?
