Default To ECU or Not to ECU, that is the question?

Ha, ok before you guys give me the "Search speech" I did some searching but im just to tired and take to long to read everything.

My question is do i need to reflash my ECU with my current mods, and future mods. If i do, what other ways are there then a reflash, since i cant send my ECU to have that done.

I have:
K&N cold air intake/ changing to AEM or Nismo
Nismo Cat Back exhaust
3.5FD

Future mods:
HF crawford cats
Nos 25 or 50shot

Thats all im doing. Any feed back would be great thanks.

I’m aware of two types of “flashes” (I’d prefer to call it “programming.”

1. Pre-set or standard
2. Custom done on a dyno with several runs to get the hp and torque curves, and air:fuel ratio where you want.

Considering your modifications, the cost of ECU programming and the potential benefits, I’d say no.

The more NA mods you have the more likely that you'll need an ECU reflash. However, that being said you also need to consider what mods you are going to do because the reflash works better if you get it for all your mods or preferably get it after you complete your mods.

The Ecu flash pry wont do much, with blot ons you lose power after 6300 so holding your gear till 7100 will actually slow you down. Get the greddy emanage, take out fuel and pry will see 15 hp gain.. thats what i saw when i was N/A

Netko350z your right one thing leads to another. But for me the list i gave is pretty much it for me. Add i would do the reflash after those, but from evey one saying, i most likely dont need to, Then i can use that money for my girlfriend

Keep the advice coming.
