^oh crap thats awesome, thanks so much that was driving me banans. I was kinda dissappointed it didnt display actuall numbers, but after just setting it up I am extatic again. You are my hero Jared thanks so much. It is safe to assume these numbers are impecably accurate right? Thanks again.

Actually, the default numbers are not quite perfect. If you take a look back at post #58 on this thread you'll see that I provided some calibrated numbers that we got from our LM1. These numbers will give you extremely accurate AFR readings.
It can be a little tricky to get the right numbers into the chart, but it IS possible.

When i tried to re-calibrate the graph it had the new values instead of the ones that were supposed to be there. not sure how that happened but whatver works. I attached an image to show you what i am talking about.

The default table was updated for V1.03, so if you've done a fresh V1.03 installation then your table should be right. If you simply run the update installer then you will likely have to update them manually because the update installer doesn't write over your options file.

Can someone with an 03-04 please do a log of Intake Camshaft Adv for B1/B2 vs. RPM?

This is the Maxima VTC curve and we'd like to compare:

I saw in the press release that 04.5 cars can raise their idle, i had a friend try and do it to my car a few weeks ago and it would not work. Why did it not work?

You might want to look into the hole drilled in throttle plate method.

The Cipher will read the wideband 02's on 2004.5 and newer 350Z's and G35's. The Cipher will not raise the idle on the 2004.5 350Z and G35.

To raise the idle on the 2004.5 350Z and G35 you can do this through an ECU Flash. Here is a link on the flash which explains some of the things it can do: http://www.alteredatmosphere.com/mm5...y_Code=350Z_EM

If you have a 2004.5 and need an idle bump, shoot me an e-mail MikeM@alteredatmosphere.com and I'll see what I can do to help out with the pricing.

Hope this helps,

That's interesting. On your website under the Cipher Functionality Matrix, it indicates that:

1) Target engine RPM works with -'03 + Z's and G's.

2) Corrected Idle RPM works with -'03 + Z's and G's.

You also suggested in post #1 that engine idle can be adjusted.

In post #11 you suggested that engine idle can be raised to 950RPM (no mention of limitations).

Then in post #41 you realize that engine idle RPM cannot be raised on a 04.5. You even say your going to change your "application guide", which I assume is the functionality chart on your website. It's the same chart. It has never been updated.

Don't believe me...look for yourself.

http://www.alteredatmosphere.com/mm5..._Code=STRFRONT

If Cipher cannot raise the engine RPM for 04.5 G's or Z's, maybe your website should be clear about this.

After all, you wouldn't want to sell your customers a product that doesn't provide the functionality that they are looking for...would you?

I had a demo of Cipher on my 04.5 Z before it came out to the general public and it couldn't change the idle then either.

IMO if you bought a cipher from AAM and you have a 04.5 then AAM should reflash your idle for free, not special pricing, free.

Just my $0.02

Wired...I agree. It's only good customer service.
