Default UTEC owners with FI - I need an answer!

Car is in the middle of a build at the minute, going with the UTEC for my ECU. Have asked this before, but didnt really get a proper answer, and need to know either way.

Have people got a solenoid working to control boost on this????? or should i just buy a seperate boost controller???

Please help me out.

Yes the BCS functionality works. We got it to work on my car using a standard GM type solenoid without too much work. However, some people with the APS kit have had trouble getting it to work with their WG as I understand. Give it a shot. You can always by an external Boost Controller if your not happy with it.

chweck out the TurboXS DTEC. that looks awesome....especially since you can use a game boy to control it.

now, they just need to make the UTEC contollable through a PSP. That would be Da Shiznit!

Screw that. use the turboxs bcs. if you wanna change boost and maps, you have to switch the map selector and change the mbc under the hood. with the turboxs setup, boost and mapping are all in one unit.

Be great to get all the mapping done via the UTEC.

Has TurboXS come out with their solenoid for use with the UTEC yet? If so, what's the part number?

Apparently this isnt working quite as it should, not with the Greddy wastegates.

Anyone with a APS TT confirm that this will work, really want to keep all my tuning under one roof as it were.
