Default Opinions on Split second piggy back ecu

I could possible get a good deal on a brand new Split second ecu, but I've never heard of them before. I'm sure I'll eventually go FI, but for now I'm just runningan AEM cai, and Injen exhaust. I thought if it's a good deal, buy it now and when I'm ready to get it tuned, I'll already have one. Brand new, he wants $300. What do ya think?

Get the EU. I talked with ss and wanted 475 for a new box where the EU cost 499. I would rather spend the extra dollars on the EU and be able to tune every 250rpm

Unless it is included with an FI kit, I would spend the money on a SS box as a stand alone tuning platform. Get an EU at the minimum, or preferably a UTEC.
