What kind of dyno? The pickups vary and some work better than others in certain locations.
One of the easiest is either of the two grounding loops on the harness. First is located on the harness between the heads. The second is in between the #1 and #3 coil.
Documenting it here for future searches.

We couldnt get an accurate reading off of the coil wires. So the dyno only picked up my a/f wich is lowest at 12.2 and highest is 13.8 not bad for having cams and headers with no cats. Due to the tach singal not working right i got 474ft pounds of tourque haha. Does anyone know the settings you use on a mustang dyno for a 350z? I kind of need some help. The dyno im using isnt a performance shop dyno they use it to road test the cars they fix, its a mechanic shop.

Are there no other dynos in the area around you? Sounds like you might need to find someone more experienced to tune the car/run the dyno.

Passengerside of engine, above the middle coilpack. Should be a loop there. Looks similar to the loop in the front of the engine. Sometimes it gets tucked under the fat section of the harness just gotta look closely. Thats normally the best pickup. I use that one all the time when I dyno 350s.
