I also emailed about an "expansion pack" price for current Cipher owners.

I don't see why not. What would you change it to. 7500 ? Look at a dyno chart first. Most of what I have seen on here, there is is drop off on HP and TQ at high RMP. So I am really not sure that raising the Rev limiter is doing anything, but I am not expert. Now on FI motors who knows. That's why we have tuners out there

I'm sure anything that you get an ECU reflash for now, will be possible with this new tool. Uprev should pretty much take over the market for reflashing with this product... unlimited reflashes and OBD all in your own garage w/ full control by UpRev for each and every reflash (to prevent theft of their product and ensure quality flashes). This might work for mild FI applications also though it would be MAF limited unless MAF scaling is possible.

Someone from UpRev needs to post on this thread... (well it is Saturday - lol!)

I have to say, this is way cooler than removing your ECU and sending it in somewhere to do the exact same thing......

underneath the dashboard, right below the hood latch release lever. I am also excited to see how this turns out. I have the cipher, and this would definatly be one hell of an addition.

I am sure you can always sell Cipher for $300+ and then buy Osiris

I can't tell if you can tune or only download their maps to the ECU

Sounds like a killer deal if you ask me, one of the main reasons i never did a tune w/ uprev or technosquare was because i hated the idea of mailing out my ecu. Osiris looks very promising.

I have a twin turbo setup (see sig) and am working on a built motor (custom crank, custom cams, etc)...so I will need more rpm than the revup currentyl allows (7200 rpm)

Hmm, was thinking of driveing up to TS for a reflash, but I might wait and see how this plays out.

With Cipher, don't you need additional stuff for it to properly lof A/F on an '03?
