If you download a tune someone else is sharing and you destroy your motor, that's between you and the internet
We'll try and sticky user generated guides and find some people to moderate the forums so that End Users can help themselves, and we're going to try putting together a Wiki or KnowledgeBase for users to update and access.
All these things are still up in the air, and we're trying to balance the Pros/Cons of them along with doing what would be the best thing for the customers without having to raise the price. If we offered support for End User Tuning, the product would cost $1500+ instead of $900, simply based on the number of people we'd have to hire to field the barrage of calls, and having space for them to work. We think it to be wiser to spend the extra $600 on going to a Pro Tuner and paying for some tuning to get set up then maybe do some training to learn how to adjust certain aspects of your tune. Once again, End User Tuning isn't for the masses, so we have to weigh all options to find the right balance before we release it.

We'll have a request form on the new website.
50$ for each etune doesn't sounds bad at all... at least I prefer to pay 50$ hoping that you actually looks at what you're doing than paying nothing to get something that maybe is not what I'm looking for. (I understand that in that way you guys got a lot of information about tuning with different setup/bolts on and had a chance to experiment what works and what doesn't).... ok... now decide the damn price and features, put the end user version online and start the...

Soon. Trust me I'm wearing out my chair because I've been putting so many hours in. I moved to the lake last month and I still haven't been on the water. I want some free time soon.
All work and no play makes Homer something something...

Correct the cable allows access to everything we do. All cables have the same functionality and the software running on top of it is like building blocks. You can start with Cipher and upgrade to Osiris, and upgrade to End User Tuning from there.
Hey, can I get in on the beta?
I've just sent a list of DTC codes to UpRev that I have compiled over months of driving TT. If they can work out a flash that disables them, then all the standalone users out there will have a way to eliminate the non-pertinent CEL codes permanently. Even if the end user tuneable version does not have the option to individually select CEL codes to eliminate, it would be a great feature to have "standalone compatibility" mode that would eliminate all those that I sent in. I think it's pretty comprehensive (and includes MAF removal)...

I've been in contact with UpRev and they confirmed while my early ecu (G35 sedan) was definately different, it would still work. Question is, would it work just like the others? ie.. just a matter of uploading the new flash just like any other Osiris product? And any other user tunable product would be compatible with my cable/ecu etc? Thanks

My sedan is 04 and I am not sure if mine is considered the "earlier" ones or not

We can support your cars if they are 03 and early 04, the only thing is being able to log data using the stock wideband O2 vs having to add an aftermarket wideband data logger to get the info to us.
It's a $400 (approx) difference, so it's worth calling and finding out to see if you need to spend it or not.
Innovate LC1+
Zeitronix ZT-2
PLX iMFD Datalogger and SM-AFR
AEM UEGO Controller (not certain if this logs data)
etc.

Your only issue is what UpRev just mentioned about you being a wideband version or not. (which offically came out in 05')
The Z33 ECU is more advanced than the A33B, and maybe the early V35, hence the NBO2's.
Now I need to go scour through the 03 V35 & 03 Z33 FSM and see what similarities I might be interested in.

Honestly if we had the time to question and test the ability to support newer ECUs on older vehicles, we could sell the stock ECU with Osiris and still be cheaper than most piggy backs. We just don't have the time with the manpower we have currently running at 140%.
I know that we have figured out some of the ECU crossover stuff is actually pretty simple and can be wired up fairly easily, but most people up to this point that have done it haven't gotten back to us on the outcome.
As far as figuring out if the ECUs will adapt from model to model, we know that there are hardware differences in the ECU itself going from the 6 to the 8 cylinder, but not too much between the 6 cylinder vehicles with the same generation ECU.
It would be interesting to delve into all that at some point, because we know many customers with like 03 Sentras have the same harness as the Z ECU, but they have ECUs that we can't work on.... but only in some instances... Nissan Sport Mag is doing a turbo charged Sentra and our software works on theirs, but we have a customer with another 03 Sentra who is following along with their build, his ECU we can't work with.
It's all very confusing to me, and I've been in the sun all day. If anyone is in Central Texas this weekend, come to the Heatwave show and say hi to us.
I should be thoroughly heat stroked by 4pm tomorrow and I'll be semi retarded by the close of the show on Sunday.
