Yeah, I'll try to get it up tomorrow either at work or sometime tomorrow night. Are you driving back after you get tuned or you staying here?

UpRev has PMs disabled?

I wanted to check on some UpRev decals...I got the car tuned here locally by Henson Performance and didn't order the product from you guys, but I'd still like some decals to rep on the car if that's possible

Just got back from the Osiris Beta tune.. My review is...

The tuner took about 6 hours ( hell ), the idle is smooth like stock, the tune is flawless no more piggy back utec transition ( bumpy ) into boost nor do i get the partial throttle blipping(like UTEC), the overall tune gained 20whp throught the band except at redline ( because heat soak set in/ supposedly pulled timing), no more codes at all!(always got bank1/bank2 rich).. It feels alot better with no piggy back.. Bad thing is the hot start up still sucks(my only complaint).. I was very hesitant and almost didnt believe this would work.. But im glad i took the chance..

Id like to say thanks to uprev for the support.. I have been a customer of them since about 2006 when they first started (blowing up now)

On another note...

I also had a huge frustrating situation with this tune because the tuner didnt specify with me dyno price or time(NOT UPREV).. Since it took the tuner "6 hours" or whatever (total of 4 actual pulls) The dyno house charged me 400 dollars I have never in my life paid so much for a damn dyno tune(been to at least 5 diff dynos) I drove 8+hrs each way for some bs.. I knew it was bound to happen..

Even if the dyno took longer than expected the shop should have had the courtesy to tell my the price was racking up!! Which they didnt.. I was so pissed after this took place Im not even going to post the tuners name nor the dyno shop as they dont deserve the publicity(reason i wont post dyno sheet or tune etc)... The time or hours charged were mostly the tuner trying to get the curve right on the maf sensor etc.. 90% could have been done off the dyno Such BS.. I only recommend UPRev for beta tune.. Hindsite 20/20 I wish i had drove to Austin Tx for uprev to tune it..

Osiris BETA is the shizznit bottom line... UPREV FTMFW!!

I thought the Cypher was incapable of bumping the idle on a 2004.5? It actually works?

why are you needing to bump idle? High lift cams?

Vortech Supercharger. It makes annoying rattling noises unless you bump the idle to about 900+rpm.

Funny you say that.

I bumped a friends G with a Vortec for exactly the same reason.

o i c ... I have an 04.5 too, according to Shawn Church (who did my Osiris tune) it can bump the idle... I am deciding on which cam to go with and a couple of the options I am considering will require higher idle... I haven't had it done yet, but apparently it can.

Here are my dyno sheets. One is my best pull and I don't know what the other sheet is...I think I had 5-6 pulls at least.

I went through the thread and your website, but who are your licensed tuners on the east coast?

None yet, still looking. Trust me, if anyone on the east coast picked it up, especially in the NY/NJ area, I'd be pushing customers to them all the time. I don't get the hesitation but shops make their own choices. West coast I have 4 people from Seattle to Irvine.

Would a Osiris/Cipher originally sold for a G coupe work for an early ECU Type I G35 sedan? Or is the cable/software different?

Same cable, but you'd need the Osiris License. If the customer didn't contact us to make sure that his ECU was flashed back to stock, then the Osiris license is still on his car and he can't sell it to you.

So if I purchase the cable/cd, I'd have to:

1) Make sure he's reflashed to stock.
2) Pay for any relicensing fees.
3) I'd assume pay for a reflash for my specific car or would Uprev honor the 3 free reflashes to the new owner?

Problem is I don't think there is any off the shelf reflashes for my early 03 sedan. Or are there? If not, I'd have to head over to a licensed Uprev tuner and get it done?

Thanks

We have base tunes for it, but you'd want to get an eTune done to make the tune work best with your car. Two ways of going about it, buy something like the Innovate LC1+ or pay for a few runs on a dyno. Just need to log AFR/RPM, and Cipher logs at the same time. Send those to us and we can update the base tune for you.

Or yes, you can go to a Pro Tuner for a full dyno tune.
