I'm talking about the Coupes which have the rev-up engine and should have the same ECU as the 06 G35's.

It's only on the 2007 G35 Sedans that infiniti introduced it's HR engine.

I would assume it should work for the 2007 6mt G35 Coupes?
Correct. It will work.

Werd. We need to start pushing more TT cars now that 2.0 is almost out. We got the G35 done today. It's an effin monster. The customer was beside himself with how smooth it ran now vs. the Fcon. I was surprised, hell it drives better than my stock Subaru.

Are you 100%? I wouldn't want to purchase it and then find out it doesn't work. Uprev can you please confirm this?

Thanks,

No, the 2007 G35 Coupes come with the Rev-Up VQ35DE DOHC 24-valve Motors.

It is only in the 2007+ 350z's / 2007+ G35 Sedan that Nissan/Infiniti upgraded to the HR Motor.

They did not use the HR motors for the 2007 G35 Coupes only for their Sedans.

Here is the info of a 2007 G35 Coupe.

I just got my 2007 G35 coupe back from Uprev. I'm 100% sure it runs with their software.

I talked to one of your dealers locally and they said that you will be releasing the new version of osiris (which will also work on the HR's) within a month, is this true?

Hopefully sooner than December, but with the way things go around here there is no promise. Same reason why we never set a release date for 2.0. it will be released when it's right.

On a good note, 2.0 is going out to Beta Testers and Pro Tuners by Tuesday or Wednesday night, so if we get good feedback, it will be out this weekend. Baby Jesus I pray that it's released by this weekend, I want some time off already.

I prefer a company that gives me a GOOD product than a company that will blow my engine just because they wants to hit the market too soon or hit the "big numbers" w/o any safety.

I waited 6 month.. I can wait 3 or 4 more.

if it's going to happen before... great. otherwise.. no big deal, I have a crapload of thing to "fix" in my nismo

So if everything goes well current users will be able to download the user tunable version for free this weekend?

No that will be handled on a case by case basis. The End User Tunable is a paid upgrade for people that purchased after July 1st. We'll need to verify date of purchase before we e-mail the license update, and a week or two before we can come up with a download scheme with passwords.

Also, if you apply for the End User Tunable software, you give up all support through us, you'll have to contact Pro Tuners for support. I would give the Pro Tuners atleast a month before they have figured out how they are going to support it and what their rates will be. I have a feeling most of them aren't going to take phone calls, you'll have to go to their shop for support.

Nice. I'm still good for the free upgrade (I bought my osiris & cable from you last November).

I'm not too worried about support. I saw the software while Church was tuning my car. It looks relatively easy to learn & use. I would like to be able to make minor changes to compensate for weather conditions.

So I bought mine in Sept of '07, will I be paying more for the end user tunable?

No, if you bought it before July 1 2008, you can upgrade free to End User, but when you do that you give up support options through us, you'll need to contact a Pro Tuner about support at that point.

Watching someone that is very skilled... do something that is very difficult... often looks easy.

I was looking at the tuning suite while my car was tuned. If youre familiar with tuning its not too hard to understand. I tuned my last car and I prefer to have full control over everything.

Plus we make our interface fairly useable. You do want some sort of understanding of tuning before attempting it, but we do make the controls as easy as possible.
