Default Does anyone w/F.I. run the Haltech?

I am looking for a good EMS for my TN Z. From what I found the Haltech looks interesting but can find no one running one on a Z. Is it available yet? Any info would be helpful.....assuming it's helpful info!

Yes - if you want one PM HAL@IP. They are released to a small group of beta testers who are actively providing feedback; myself included (well Sharif really).

I need feedback first. I bought the UTEC cause that's what you do. I doesn't fit MY needs. Need my next EMS to be my last.

I'm saying "That's what you do" because I just naturally went with UTEC as MANY people do. It doesn't fit my needs because UTEC's don't jive well with a reflashed ECU's or at least in my setup and know other's with reflashed ECU's that have the same "dead spots". Of course I know even more people they work great for and guess what.....their ECU's are non-reflashed.

Now that the Haltech has released, anyone running one? Both a friend and I are really considering the switch from UTEC.

There are a number of Z/G's being driven by the Haltech Platinum now, from almost stock to 1000+whp. No problems and we are receiving lots of great feedback.

Give me a call Monday and I can help answer any questions you may have, as well as provide references to people running it. We have already mapped a TN 350z so I can provide you with a good base map to start from.

Are you guys at IP seeking any additional testers? I am running a UTEC and contemplating an upgrade to full standalone? Don't know about any Haltech Tuners around here though. Where can I go if I am based in NY?

+1, I was reading the HALTECH thread and that ran through my mind as well. I understand it is dummy friendly, but will all good tuners get all it's functions and all the above and beyond it does over the UTEC?

Testing is complete, it has been confirmed over and over again that the unit works We do have the units in stock now, so if you would like to pick one up give us a ring.

As far as tuning, any experienced/competent tuner with AEM, Motec, Electromotive, etc will understand the Haltech Platinum. The user interface is very friendly and easy to use.
