OR get the L-spec or w/e spec it is from TS that only consists of raising the rev limiter, removing the top speed limiter, and the thing that would over-write your U-TEC settings...meaning if you just get UTEC by itself, the OEM ECU will over-write it eventually.

If you just get the L-spec, then it costs much less than the full version, so IMO it's worth the couple of things that it does if you plan on going all out with mods or just "all out" on the streets(safely) or track.

The ecu likes to try to tune around the utec if it's setup for maf. A reflash would help the ecu stay in the desired target range. If it's a map setup then all is good.

I'm interested on doing a reflash on my ECU. I don't care about raising my rev limiter coz Utec can do that, my problem is that every now and then, I get some knock on ECU control. I would like to take out a degree or two of my ECU timing. I haven't really read anything about what Orisis can do but now I'm starting to get interested especially if the price is right.
