This might not go any where but, I would like to compare timing maps in Haltch tune with FI TTs. I know many tuners, "keep there cards close to there vest" as far as there tunes go but I don't know. I realy wanted to see how much of a diffrence there would be between degs. + or- . I know there isn't a lot of Haltechs running.....YET!

Good idea.
I will send you mine once we have completed tuning.
we connecyed the Haltec up yesterday after fitting the APS fuel system but it did not want to start ( sounded like it was swinging but not firing), we did hear the pumps fire up though and cou see that the Halec was sencing the Throttle % of the pedal.
If we dont have anyluck will try and contact the fantastic guys at Injected to help (thy have been fantastic with customer support and supplying a base map).
PS how many degrees of timing you run?
This is the first Haltec instal so any help and advise is appreciated.

Thanks, you will like the Haltech. I'm going to post my timing map up to compare.

Disclaimer: keep in mind every motor will take a different amount of ignition advance, even compared to "the same setup" on someone else's car.

I will post my timing map when I am done tuning the car. I am no pro tuner so don't expect to see anything extreme I am still learning and working on tuning but it would be very interesting to compare the timing map.

The ignition map post above looks to be conservative. What the factory computer runs for ignition advance is much higher. Try using the pass threw mode for the ignition table from 0 manifold pressure and below. You'll be able to see what the factory computer is running, and the drivability will be much better. Try it out, you will be able to feel the difference.
To really figure out what is "optimum" you'll need to use a dyno.
