Actually, I think you made a bit more than I expected. Is yours the HR or the Revup or the original VQ?

I wish I would have hit those numbers when I was NA. I had more bolt ons but no tune. I was thinking about a reflash or tune right before I went FI, so I never got to see what it did.

Awesome numbers, I bet it's a blast to drive. Do you have any pics?

it's the HR. with me was the opposite. I expected to get close to the 300whp. However, I will exempt myself from blaming the car, and i will attribute everything to Seattle's humidity and the elevation of the area the shop was (800ft).

I have a Revup and I doubt anyone will ever hit that close to 300 with bolt-ons/reflash on an accurate dyno. The HR seems to really wake up with mods. Why couldn't I wait a year!?!?!?

Since u dynod on a dynojet, what you should do is download winpep from dynojet.com. Then ask for the dyno run files from the shop (very small files--can be sent vie e-mail or put on a thumbdrive).

Then load up the run files on the winpep reader.

You can then make your own graphs. You can even switch correction factors too. So you can see STD correction and SAE correction.

Not in stock form, dyno it vs. the tune. How do you know what you actually gained?

well, i doubt that there has been an HR motor with 290whp/260wtq in a stock form. I assume that the car would have dynoed approx. 260whp/230wtq just like 99% of the HR's

Yeah but each dyno has a 8% or so variance. Our dyno would show a number of stock HR motor cars at 280-290. Just depends on how much rolling resistance I want to create. I can add some air to the tires and leave the tie down straps a little loose and create big numbers.

Thats why I was asking because I'd like to see what the actual gains are on the car, keep it with as little subjectiveness (is that even a word?) as possible.
