Default Is it possible to hook up a F con to a 7" screen

I have a 7" screen in the cubby and just got the Vpro, is it possible to hook those two together so I can read EGT, A/F...etc? What type of cables would be needed to do this. I have a spare laptop that I can use if it is needed. I understand that I wont be able to tune or log anything I just want to be able to view my gauges from the screen because I dont like having more gauges.

Isn't that the HKS Navigator does that for you?

Yes but I dont like having it on the dash sticking out, I rather have it all show up on a monitor.

If you have a laptop tucked away somewhere, you can connect it to the OBDII port and then get a program that will display all the information it receives (oil temp, water temp, etc) then display it on the 7"

You won't get any info about boost and such though

If you want to rig up all the sensors it gets pricey...you need the IF module as well along w/ the corresponding sensor attachments. Don't forget about the fcon harness and the nissan harness that mates w/ the OBD port.

Blitz has a product like this but since Oil temp, fuel pressure, coolant temp...etc doesn’t reside in the ODB hence it wont display it. I called Blitz to verify and they said the only thing it can display for our car is just the Tach. They said it really depend on the car itself. If you guys find a product that actually work then let me know...

several companies make such a piece including Blitz and Greddy, but they won't display to an external screen (at least not easily), and they don't datalog nor integrate to an aftermarket ecu, so they are limited. If you have an FCon, the Camp2, while pricey, is the easiest and most logical way to go, and is a seamless install

Seems like its really expensive to get to the finish product. I wish there was something that you could do just like the Utec were its not nearly as pricy.

Well why buy an EMS that is Locked? I know Vpro is one of the best ems out there but there are other Standalone that is not locked and you can do some of your own logging. It's no like you're out of choice here, you just need to pay to play... That is why HKS Authorize dealer always push for the VPRO, it is because they know you will always have to go back to them for any changes or upgrade

but if you think about it, if you're not doing your own tuning, then even having an "unlocked" ecu really does you no good either, since you'll always be relying on a professional for the tuning/upgrades, etc. Just have to weigh the various factors...there are no right or wrong choices here, just different options
