Why not just pay to have it done and sit in on the tuning session? I know a lot of NW tuners that have let me help and sit in on installs on my prev builds.. Have you ever tuned anything before? It's an eye opener when you see how much actually goes into it. Load, timing, AFR's, etc you really have to know your stuff or else risk doing something stupid..

The first time I sat in while they tuned my UTEC on my WRX I was a little taken back by how much info you have to be aware of..

What is done to your car and how much do you know about tuning?

Assuming it is naturally aspirated and you know how to tune, your best bet is an ecu reflash. There is a tuner addition available that allows you to edit the ecu live by yourself.
http://www.350zmod.com/Osiris-Tuner-...12-07-1260.htm

Assuming you do not know how to tune and/or are forced induction - I advise you look for a good tuner/tuning facility to tackle this for you.

Im currently running HKS Exhaust, Helix Test Pipe, MREV2 with 5/16 Iso Spacer, JWT Intake, and Underdrive Crank Pulley. And yes i dont know how to tune but i would love to learn how to tune it myself. Ive heard that i can use the plug and play one and its farely easy to tune it myself. So is there anyone thats good and easy to tune.

^ For your setup and experience, I would recommend a reflash w/ etunes. You will need the connection cable so you can upload the first flash and then do datalogging. From there you would submit the log back to us, we make any necessary adjustments, and send a revised map to you to upload.

If you really want to get into tuning yourself I recommend you do a lot of studying, reading and learning. A good place to start may be an efi101 course.

If you buy the connection cable there is no need to send your ecu in. The cable allows you to upload the flashes (provided by us) yourself. It also allows you to monitor and datalog the factory ecu parameters, check and clear CEL codes, raise idle up to 250rpm (on early years only), and more. Also in the reflash we can disable any codes you desire, for example if you have any from the test pipes, and adjust your throttle to be more responsive and stay open 100% when you are 100% on the gas.

5-15hp on average, depending on modifications and how far off the stock tune is. The 350Z factory computer is dialed in pretty well in stock form.

Can the reflash be used with a supercharger... yes, with mild setups - and I would suggest an upgraded high flow maf. For forced induction setups you are better off with a more capable engine management, or at the very least a dyno tune.

I have the utec and since my injectors are at 550cc now it cranks over a couple times before firing, can the reflash fix this without messing with my utec.

Yes, I can adjust your cranking fuel via reflash (which is outside of the UTECs control) without affecting your tune. This becomes increasingly helpful as injector size goes up.

op do some research and learn about different ems's...u really dont wanna skimp on tuning and should have it professionally done with a good ems that u can use in the future if u end up boosing the car...tuning is not something u just jump into and go at it

I wanted to see if there would be a big difference in these options. For 500 I can get the osiris standard and get tunes specifically for my car (pop charger,5/16 spacer, underdrive crank pulley, headers,tp, dual custom magnaflow) I called this place and for 600 I can get a osiris reflash with a dynotune for 600.What would be my best route?

Assuming the dyno-tuner knows what they are doing - definitely go that route for $100 more.

a mail in reflash is not gonna compare to a dyno tune that is specific for your car...spend the extra money where it counts and dont be stupid...

or take jay's route and go ebay thats where the goods are at, guaranteed 30 horsepower...lmao..get a turbonator too

What is this tuning? Will it require me to swap over to ceramic muffler bearings and methanol blinker fluid?
