despite my temporary bad attitude i still look out.

i hate it when i sell something thinking i don't need it then find out later that i need it and have to buy it new all over again. Really burns me up.

i'm going through that now. My innovate motorsports LM-2 datalogger with obdII. I haven't used it for a while since i have cipher, but i know if i sell it i'll want it back.

Non-revups can adjust the rev limit with UTEC/Haltech etc.

Idle can also be adjusted on those using a Cipher. Rev-Ups need a reflash for both.

ORYL

so haltech supercedes the hard rev limit of the ecu on the non-revs. how does it do it on non-revs but can't on the revs?

bc like said before, non revs use a fuel cut rev limiter. utec/haltech etc control fuel. Revups close the throttle plate (ie DBW), not controlled.

Wow I bet the DBW style rev limiter is much "softer".

I installed the Haltech yesterday. I haven't had much time to mess with it but the software is fantastic compared to the UTEC and Osiris tuner. I will using a Haltech dual wideband setup.

The UTEC and the Osiris will be for sale soon.
