2003 VQ's with Haltech
You had the "lean spot issue" though in the other thread. Interesting. You might want to try to flash to v1.0 and see if it goes away... On str8dum1's car it holds idle fine, but as you start revving it in neutral, it will start to misfire around 2400 rpms.

Well during tuning a new issue has arisen regarding the cam timing.
Seems that when you shut the car off and restart, cam phasing shuts off for 2 or 3 WOT pulls. Then it will magically come back on.
Very obvious on the dyno as your boost curve is shifted over a 1000 rpms to the right. Very bad!! and even worse for us guys that go to the track and need to shutdown in the staging lanes. An extra 1000 rpms of lag will kill your times!
Blackbird CPV35 has the exact same issue on his 2003 G as well that Hal tuned. Not a coincidence I wouldnt think....

You know that reminds me of how I was told that the G35 in stock form would "detune" itself until you began driving aggressively, after which it would gain power. I wasn't sure if it was true or not and I had no way to prove it but your cam phasing reminded me of that. The Haltech has full control over cam phasing right? So you are positive that it is an issue with the Haltech?
I got my lean spot partially fixed. I guess I just wasn't tuning the correct load column. I still can't rev the car to 2250 and hold it without it going full lean though, no matter what I do to the VE curve.

most common problem affecting most haltech 350z user is idling and stalling. I am working with the tune shop to fix (not fun).
