Innovate Motorsport: OT-2
Just received my Innovate Motorsport OT-2
All I had to do was connect to my OBD2 and bam, instant awesomeness.
Conveniently enough, I threw a CES light and was able to check the code from my iPad, figure out what it was, and clear it, all in the comforts of Starbucks.
I haven't had a chance to check out the dyno or fuel efficiency stuff, but I'm not really concerned about it.
Here are the different channels I was able to read:
rpm- RPM
tp - Throttle Position
load_pct - Engine Load
sparkadv - Timing Advance
maf - Mass Air Flow
vss - Vehicle Speed Sensor
ect - Engine Coolant Temp
iat - Intake Air Temp
fuel1_ol - Fuel System 1 Open Loop
fuel2_ol - Fuel System 2 Open Loop
shrtft1 - Short Term Fuel Trim 1
longft1 - Long Term Fuel Trim 1
shrtft2 - Short Term Fuel Trim 2
longft2 - Long Term Fuel Trim 2
shrtft3 - Short Term Fuel Trim 3
longft3 - Long Term Fuel Trim 3
shrtft4 - Short Term Fuel Trim 4
longft4 - Long Term Fuel Trim 4 (I did not originally have this listed but I believe it should be there)
mil - Malfunction Indicator Lamp
dtc_cnt -DTC Count
mil_dist - Distance MIL active
o2s11 -O2 Senso(NB) 1-1
shrtft11 - O2 Fuel Trim 1-1
o2s12 -O2 Senso(NB) 1-2
shrtft12 - O2 Fuel Trim 1-2
o2s31 -O2 Senso(NB) 3-1
shrtft31 - O2 Fuel Trim 3-1
o2s32 -O2 Senso(NB) 3-2
shrtft32 - O2 Fuel Trim 3-2
rpm2 - ???
How my question, in LogWorks for my computer, I am able to custom write formulas to convert signals into something else. So:
- How do I convert MAF from g/s to PSI? (relationship between g/s and psi?)
- How do I convert O2 from volts to AFR? (relationship between volts and AFR?)

2. Does your Z have factory widebands ('04.5+)? If so, the FSM has a chart of a/f ratio vs volts. Or, you could get on a dyno with an independent wideband, and note volts vs indicated a/f ratio....pretty time consuming to completely calibrate.
I just received the serial cable and the terminator plug. Going to connect my auxbox to it and see how it goes. My OT-2 is on loan to someone who was driving in Redline last weekend, so I should be able to get this all together this weekend.

There is. Go to the Innovate website and you can download logworks for your PC. Actually a pretty nice program. The one for the iphone/ipod/ipad is a very simplified version of it. I'll have to take some screen shots, although I think you can find it online.
Yes sir. Threw a code the first day and cleared it right up. First up is gutting my auxbox connected. I may order the af sensor next. Be sure to check with injected performance! They had fantastic price on the ot-2 and shipping was awesome.
