Default 2 Step limiter using Uprev done!

Just to keep things clear, I am an Uprev Pro Tuner in Kuwait and have been tuning these vehicles since 2009.

Uprev is becoming a very good tool for us to tune these motors. I really don't care what anyone says, but piggybacks (Unichip, UTEC) just don't do the justice.

Here's a vid of the 2step I was playing around with today, the data byte on the Uprev rev limiter isn't as clean as I'd like it. You can see in the beginning of the video the rpm bouncing is slow, but tuning around it makes it perfect!

Also managed to get it done on a VK56DE

Could you possibly going in depth more about hot to go about doing this? I have an appointment for uprev mid march. I would like to have one of the map a two step!

2 step yes. The backfiring no. I'm adjusting Uprevs values to get this done. It's not as easy as Haltech or AEM where there is a switch on/off 2 step function.

Is your test car turbo charged? How much boost are you making on the antilag? How much timing can you pull with Uprev?

There is no reason to antilag an NA car and all that will do is promote cracking the manifolds. Just making it backfire for the sound is for stupid ricers.

I'm guessing you just pulled a ton of timing?

ya real antilag systems pull 20* or more timing depending on the target boost trying to reach.
