The unichip is coming :)
Unichip will be releasing its product for the G35coupe/350z platforms sometime in December. V6P.Net just finished joint testing and R&D'ing w/ Unichip for use for the Accord V6 platforms. Check out this link for info and dyno charts regarding the Accord V6 platforms.

Pricing hasn't been worked out yet and the "official" release date hasn't been given to us yet. You can check out V6P's video lounge for a video presentation of how the Unichip works at:

We've been after this thing for years and they finally made one for our Accord V6's. Soon they'll be releasing it for your cars as well as the RSX. We'll be posting more dynos charts as they come in and will be starting threads and our V6P marketing poll to find out how many G35 coupe owners might be interested.
As far as questions on whether it will control drive-by-wire and other functions, we don't know yet. Once Unichip has finished testing their "mule" then we'll get more info from them on what mods it had and what exactly was changed. We'll also be including dyno charts in our threads. Stay tuned.

The unichip for the Z will be out in the very near future with a plug n play harness and you will have the choice of maps to choose from as well as individual tuning to your own car if you would like.. Email if you would like more info.

Are you stating it is available as of now? It does not read that way on the first post. Hence its better off not to get all excited over something thats not available. Do not take it the wrong way, but untill there is one it does not matter ie dreamworks.

Believe it or not, that's your choice. Click my links to see results from our Accord members. Dyno proven results. Or check out our video presentation from the President of Unichip. Most of your basic questions will be answered in those links.
Once more info is released from Unichip. I'll be posting up the dyno test charts, different maps and harnesses, on this forum and on V6P.Net once we get it.

It has been available in the UK for a few months now and is also available in Oz. There is currently no plug & play harness though, needs to be 'soldered' into the loom, but it can still be unplugged.
Costs around 4-500 GBP including tuning specific to your mods, cheaper, I suppose, if you buy a 'standard' map, or if a plug & play harness for the Z ever becomes available.

The new Unichip will have selectible maps. We currently have a Map A for 89 octane and a more aggressive Map B for 91+ octane for the accords. It will be plug-n-play with a harness specifically made for the G35/350z vehicles.

More expensive yes, but more versatile and can be programmed to control Nitrous or boost and maps can be changed as you mod..

The one APS uses only has the ability to have one map right? So will the one coming be capable of multiple maps? I plan on doing the APS TT, but would like to have multiple maps on it for like street and track for example. Anybody know?

I think the unit is capable of doing one map at a time.The switching of maps can be done via laptop interface by a dealer..

I am almost positive that the new Unichip from Unichip NA will allow switching between 2 maps via a switch. As stated by Jullian, the version of the Unichip that is included with the APS kit doesnot allow that, you will need to have it done by a Unichip dealer.. On a side note, I may be able to personally let you know how the "map switching" goes once the Unichip is launched here!!
