ZdayZ 2009
Nikki was talking about adding breakfast sammiches to the menu next year.
Yeah I drive about 6/10 also . The Dragon doesn't "nibble" , it bites hard , I've seen it first hand ( not me ) . Its not pretty . Sometimes I get into the turns a little hot , but the Michelin Exalto PE II are really good tires and do very well at the limit ( very controlable ) . Check it

$hit son... someone needs to. No more of this "Awww... a woman came to ZdayZ and wants to drive around... how cute"
The only driving they need to do is to the gas station to fill up my car only if I'm too drunk, and maybe to go get some fuking groceries, some condoms and some lube. And that's only if they forgot, in which case a beating is in order. 'Cause they should have brought that $hit on the way there.

Anyone ever ride with Greg in the rain? Wow. I had no idea the Z was capable lol. I will not attempt such skills myself, but props.

The differecne between the Dragon and a racetrack....
If you mess up on the race track, you *may* total your car and you *may* injure yourself.
If you mess up on the Dragon, you *will* total your car and you *will* likely be injured, or killed, or kill/injure someone else.

+1, I'll drive it about 6/10s. I know the road probably as good as some of the locals, i'm up there that much. But I never let my tires talk, and I'm never to hawt into a blind curve, you never know what is waiting for you in the middle of it. We lost a lot of cars this year, and from what I am hearing, it was all driver error.
I ran the first few times to get used to the condition. I got more comfortable and picked it up a bit. Then I got behind a stock Volvo C30 who was pushing it beyond his tire's limits. He was squealing around corners and wildly weight shifting in each corner. A tailspin or over braking was just a matter of time.
I realized that I was pressuring him too much being close behind him. I backed off and he felt comfortable enough to pull off. Moral of the story, consider the other driver's limits, stress levels and situations and you might just prevent an accident. I think he was trying to go fast to accomodate the faster car behind. (A no-no) That is why there are pull offs.

The week of ZdayZ, I pulled three bikes out of a ditch and watched one of many Zs leave on a roll back. The risk verses reward up there isn't worth it. I won't even race door to door on a track, because the payout isn't worth it, much less for giggles up there. My Z has around 25k track miles on it, I know the car quite well and it worries me that people are wadding up there cars left and right.

Jeff, I know you are in the medical field, you have got to have more heart that that.
I went to see the guy in the hospital that was in the G35x that was batted around in the back seat when the G went straight into the cliff, lifted up and smacked the top of the car into the cliff, then landed on its side. He is lucky. Brain pan is OK, and very little spinal damage, bruised kidneys, broken sternum, ribs, tongue bit in half, lose teeth, many compression fractures, and it wasn't his fault. He'll be down for a while, but he will get back up.

Usually I'm extra careful in the rain, not much margin for error there. I felt comfortable at the rate I was going though but there are definitely far better drivers out there than me.
