I think that was so pointless of them to do that. Why would anyone want to do that to a car anyway? The flames were kind of cool though.

It also seem like a good enough car that could resist some more years of beating, to me just plain weird. May be they were testing the limits of internal parts, or a turbo, or something like that

supposably the engine was clicking real bad and they had a new motor according to the poster when I viewed comments. Still a stupid reason.
