requesting jeremy clarkson test drive video
A "3 out of 10, could do better" whatever that means. After being able to drive around Ferraris and Bentleys I too would probably look at the Z as though it is crap... he is just spoiled. Top Gear videos can no longer be found on Google Video, but I will post up a valid link if I come across it.
He just wanted to be *** about the whole car. I mean he never he even pushed the car around corners. What kinda fin test drive is that when you don't even test the car and push it. And he dident even talk about the price, since it is so much cheaper than his usall ferrari's. It seemed like from the beginneing he did not want to like the car and when he drove the car he that thinking in his head that is going to be ****ty. I really like what he really has to say about the cars he tests, but this must be one of the ****tiest one he has done. I have a G and I use to have a 400hp vr4 and the G is not even close to being as fast as the vr4, but the G/Z are so freaking balanced and it is not just about going stright fast but more as curvy fast

The test with the roadster on Top Gear was even worse. A comparison between the ZR, Audi TT roadster and Crossfire. They take it out on a beach and stuff... Of course the 4WD is going be the fastest. Luckily Hammond digs the 350z out of all 3.
I've met a guy who worked for Top Gear. He told me that almost everything is 'staged' as they decide the outcome of a lot of tests. Like of course a sports car cannot beat an airplane or highspeed train so easily (going to France or something in a sports car vs other transport, car always wins). Than the Stig is a different driver al the time, they rotate. Also the celebrity times on the track are adjusted by Top Gear before they put them on the show.
This kinda disappointed me a bit, although I still really like their show...

Top Gear still gave it "Car of the Year" though!!
Clarkson = burned with an apology.
Hammond, Tiff and whatever that girl's name is on 5th gear absolutely adores the Z though.
"The enjoyment doesn't diminish. I love the look of it, I love the sound of it, I love the feel of it, I love the way it performs and best of all I love the price... This really was one of the great discoveries of my journalistic road testing career." -Tiff Needell (5th Gear)
"I don't want a double-clutch gear box, four-wheel drive to distract me from the experience. Engine at the front, six-speed manual gear-box, rear-wheel drive...the end!" -Richard Hammond (Top Gear)
