hey guys, heres a video i found on youtube while searching..Its not my best run but one that somebody else that was there caught on video and posted up so ill post it up here..i ran a few 11.90's that night and my best of 11.78...Heres a video of 11.94@117 that this guy got on video, spinning on the launch too much and lost time on the 60ft...

All of my videos are on an old school camcorder with a tape, so i have to transfer the footage to a disc so i can post up my better runs that i have, but in the meantime heres this to check out.....

thanks guys, yeah im #1 on the vortech list..oldman z also broke 11's...i did all this on the 3.12 pulley and stock internals too !!!...very simple setup...

ill get my other vids up soon hopefully with better times than this one, spun a little too much this run and didnt hit 2nd like i normally do, was a split second too late...thanks for the comments!!!

i would never put 20's on a z...19's
actually took a deposit today on the z to hold it till tuesday
sold the vortech to another member

getting an suv for my girl soon to be wife saturday sept. 4th and then after this winter im hoping to hop into a c6 and hopefully its a zo6 depending on if i can swing it or not...

 

GL man. I got a nice chunk of change saved up and i was also FI my Z for semi unreliability or a Z06. And since the cheapest Z06 i can find within 200 miles is 40k and my insurance is gonna go up im kinda uncertain. I looked at 2002 Z06 and iv owned 1 before. Actually only 4 a month bc the ride was so uncomfortable and bumpy. But anyways around my area low mileage C5 Z06s are still 30k+.

 

^^yeah pretty much lookin at 40k here also for a c6 zo6.seems the only ones ive seen under 40k have been yellow and i def. dont want yellow...i also do not want a c5 z06, ill get a normal c6 before i get a c5 zo6 i think..i have however found some decent c6 z51's for in the high 20's which i plan to go drive and check out..waiting to see what winter prices bring...

 

yup same here. Yellow and that **** is fugly. Not driving a banana around. Im sure u know but Z51 isnt anything but upgraded rotors and stiff suspension. All though the Z51 badge looks pretty sick. I also looked at C6s but then again i would b a step behind is how i feel. i think im gonna wait til winter also if not spring again to have enough saved up that the day i get it ill just drop it off at CIN and have them bolt on 100hp. Heads, cams, Full exhaust and a tune. Cant b V8 power

 

i like the targa top though that the z51 has...do other normal c6's have that also? i havent seen any searching i dont think...also the z51 has shorter gear ratio..i just figure if i could get the z51 for same price as a normal c6 might as well go for it..that is if im not ready for a zo6

 

All non z06s vettes will gave the targa option. And now that u mention that im interested n a c6 a lil more now. I love targa tops
