Man, you just can't beat the twin turbo, once they get to the top end, it's all RAW power man, the N/A just can't compete with the turbos.

remember that race where they were using the Skyline as the camera car following the Z, same HP but the Skyline just passes the Z like nothing.
I have to agree. My Z doesn't do well through 1st and 2nd, but 3rd, 4th, 5th it's great power. Not to mention 100 octane race gas which adds about 40rwhp. Mustangs, Camaros, Vettes do get me off the line, but I usually real them in to their dismay because of the turbo's.

I'm sure with time, the 350Z turbo kits will be fine tuned to put out some great power and will become more main stream. The problem is who will be the guinea pigs of pushing the 350Z. They will be the pioneers and the leaders of you 350 guys.

Mani (from the Supra crowd) was one of the first guys to put a fully programmable ECU in his Supra and went through a few engines doing so. Everyone else learned from his mistakes as I did from the early Z32 guys, bought my Z in 2000.

I'm sure in a couple years, there will be many 3.5L bullet-proof 350's raping the highways after their warranties expire (i.e. no deterrent to modify them).
