I respect the work kids put into the motors. Do most worked civics sound like that? It sounds very similar to my weed wacker. Still a fast car.

sounded like the Z bogged down right after launch, maybe vdc/tcs was on? or maybe he doesn't know how to launch?

i would defently say the same thing. that z had a horrible launch. his front end dived at the line, wich leads me to believe that the throttle came to a sudden close.

i'd have to agree that the 350z had a bad launch, cause b16 have no torque whatsoever. the hatch definiately had at least a gsr tranny though, way too short to be si gears.

Hey Guys I'm new to this Forum .... Wel First of all I LOVE 350z. Now baout this Civic Hatch. I'm a Honda man but gotta love my nissan. Juss to fill you guys in a Civic Hatch with a Swapped motor Can Easily Run mid-14's. Yes Most Honda's do sound like that but not all. To me I'd Stay the 350 was ready for the Jump cause notice like a small delay in reaction. As for Mods.. I can Tell you the Civic Has Intake, Type R Cams with Pullie, Headers and Exhaust... Oh yeah and Drag Radials. Well juss wanted to help you guys out. If the 350 Had a better start the Stock Z whould of beat it.

Is that right? Seems to me that I remember having a Civic Si no longer than a week ago before I got my z and it lasted me up until I sold it. Before I sold it, it had 325hp/287tq and beat just about everything it raced on the highway. Oh and the smoke is usually from running a little rich. Thats usually the case when your running 17psi of boost on a motor like that. Thank you and drive through
