I just installed the AEM intakes last night. It took a while to do, but the install went pretty smooth. I will be at the Monterey meet tomorrow if anyone wants to check them out. Just look for me in the SMB 07' with the Nismo wheels.

I will post pics soon.

Oh and Ptuning kicks butt. I ordered the Fujita's last Friday, changed my mind and got the AEM's on Saturday. The guys at Ptuning had AEM drop ship the intakes to my door on Wednesday. Great customer service and just a great place to do business with.

I too got my AEM intakes from PTuing. I picked itup and they gave me a special price Lets just say it was cheaper then stillen. So far so good. They sound awesome at WOT. Throttle feels very responsive. Now I cant really hear it too much but thats because my FI intimidator exhaust + test pipes are kicking in at WOT too

i think it is funny that fujita posted a dyno of the g37 coupe intake from the same dynometer and the baseline hp is the same on the two cars and the Z has more tq......that to me means that F5 is fudging the dynos (esp since they do it on other foums too)

That is interesting.... Take a look at their dyno for the G37 Intakes:

http://www.f5air.com/f508g37_pr.html

Engine Baseline w/Fujita Intake
VQ35HR HP 255.65 265.31
VQ37HR HP 261.25 263.52

VQ35HR TQ 227.15 231.92
VQ37HR TQ 215.08 224.26

These numbers make no sense what so ever... The good news for the G37 is that Fujita only had to do a total of 4 runs to get their numbers as compared to the 12 runs they had to do with Equinox's Z to get the desired result.

Could testing the g37 with AT vs a MT Z make it make more sense? Just curious.

Im thinking of buying fujita. Obviuosly making gains is not my concern, but with AEM, Fujita, stillen, and nismo coming, what would be the best roar for the buck??

Ebay has these for $307 buy it now price, along with submit best offer. I low balled the ish out of them, $230. They accepted the offer. $230 shipped. Does this sound to good to be true? I called them and sound like they are legit, and they also have excellent feedback.

the cheapest i've heard the fujitas go for is 245 but i won't say where because it was not the advertised price. To ANYONE that buys the fujita. It's a decent product with decent quality with decent fit and finish. HOWEVER, the instructions say to take off the front stut bar. Dont do it. You can still install without taking it off.

^ I hear the same thing. I cant justify spending so much on a mod that make no gains. It's all about the sound, so I can live with this price.

Don't bother taking the strut bar off but be careful to not scratch it on the drivers side with the threads on the bar.
