My 05 G35 Rev-Up would own your non-rev up with a mrev kit from MD. Gives more TQ and hp than yours would ever see.

Might be, but the trap speeds and 1/4 times more than speak for themselves.

for the quarter maybe...my i/h/e tuned nonrevup puts down more trq then the new hr makes hp, havent ran it yet as it sits (280/265), but i know my tq is great in the mtns. the new hr is essentially a z s2000, you lose the low end power for top end. so it just depends where you like your game played...i handed every n/a z i have ran into its booty, at 1.5k rpm i am already at 210 ft lb trq. i guess you get bias depending what type of z you have but i have a i/h/e tuned ls2 gto(392/402) and my slow pos z, and i like having my power when i need it and not on the top end (although the goat has it at all ends). to each his own.

I dont think you would say that if you drove an HR. I am new to rear wheel drive and to drag racing so I am self admittedly not the best but I have handed many older bolt-on rev up and non rev up Zs and Gs their asses from a roll and a few at the track. And like BBoy said the trap speeds speak for themselves. I just trapped 107 today at the track. Again this is coming from a noob driver. You put an experienced driver behind the wheel and its really no contest.

The REV-Up will put down more power than a non-rev up with the same mods and a mrev kit no matter what you do.

The HR isn't missing any low end power. You wouldn't be saying this if you driven one. I have owned a 04 G35, non-rev up, a rev up 05 g35, and now a HR. The HR is the best out of all 3.

like i said its all opinion....but the more air you put into the motor and the velocity at which it comes in the more/less hp you will see...i have driven a hr, a couple times, it has mid and top end power but nothing down low, ive seen few revup with the same mods at me and they put down a few more hp but less tq. i guess that what i get for only having VVT on one side

i am glad you enjoy your hr, i enjoy my non revup, i wont trade it in for a hr if anything a ls2 vette, which is highly unlikely since im moving up north so it will probably be an evo 10. (awd snow donuts FTW!)

im guessing your n/a g35 revup put down numbers higher then mine?

i have driven an hr, raced a few on the hywy, im not bashing your engine im making an observation. but if you trapped 107 why are you only running 13.7's?

taken into consideration to that track times around the country vary, the closer to sea level, the better the times and traps
