I just got my letter in the mail. Even with 59oo++ miles, the clutch works just fine, but i guess i have to take it in to avoid future problems.

Hey jetnoirZ... strange, as a matter of fact it was Julio who gave me the run around. I called back on Friday and got another service manager Jason. He said bring it in... I have an appoint on Tuesday. Thanks for the support!

I think your dealer should provide you with a loaner if you *****. I spoke to my service advisor and he said they would provide me with "transportation". I called NCA and they opened a case# because ,I told them I want my car back running the way it does now. And if I have any tranny issues later they will be held responsible. Also they told me that they would provide me a loaner cause I would have no transportation after I turn my Z in.

well i got my car back yesterday and the difference is very minimum but noticeable. the clutch seems "stiffer" like solo said, it feels "solid" through out and it does seem easier to drive the car, first gear starting off is not so rough any more. the tranny felt new, like the day i got the car. yes, they have to take out your tranny. all in all it was worth it to bring it in for a day or so to get it fix, the tech was great, even gave me a rental. and no dents or scratches on my car.

I think mine falls into that category. Last digits are 501296.

Do I take my car to the dealership, or do I have to wait for some letter first?
Got my car in May/June of 07.

You do not have to have the letter to take your car in. As long as your VIN falls in the range, then they will fix your car.

I didn't receive my letter and I still drove to the stealership to have them fix my car.

Anyone getting a aftermarket clutch and flywheel put in. If they are pulling the tranny why not.

Are they going to replace it regardless, or do they have to 'diagnose' it first?

If you received the notice, they should just replace it.

My tech told me its in the computer as a 3hr job, but itll take most 5hours. I left my car at 7am thur and got the its ready call at 8 fri. So it shouldnt take more than that bc my dealership service dept sucks big ones. If they can turn it out in a day, nearly all others should too.

the way it's worded in the letter makes me assume it's a no questions asked just bring it in issue. I also had a missed call yesterday from my dealership. haven't called them back but if it's regarding the tsb then my dealer rocks!
