The guy who serviced my car fixed my annoying rattle for me
He was very cool about and asked if I track my car. Apparently the bolts and nuts on the exhaust came loose after awhile and he said I was riding around with 3 bolts missing on the exhaust
He fixed it up for me and now no more rattle. Cool mechanic.
He invited me to a track day event with the bmw club at summit point in April.

After getting my slave cylinder replaced yesterday. My shift **** seems higher and everytime i switch gears it makes a clicking noise into gear. Is this normal? or should i contact them and bring the car back in?

I cant express how much better it is compared to before, just glad I got it changed.
yeah thats exactly what happened!

Marry this guy if you have too!!! Don't let him slip away.
OK so I drop my Z off today and not only do they give me a rental with no questions. But Enterprise shows up with an 08 Ram full size, crew cab on 20's. lol. Its the Big Horn edition with a 4.7l V8 and 60 miles on it.
I lauged and said WTF am I supposed to do with this. lol. This thing I literally have to jump up into.

This is too frickin funny!!!
I tried to no avail to get it into my garage last night. I didn't want my neighbors to think I had just purchased it.

After getting the recall work done, how likely is it that the problem is it that the problem will still exist? I read in another thread that a lot of people are continuing to have the same problem even after the recall work. I appologize, I have not had time to read this whole thread.
Should this clutch slave cylinder problem discourage me from buying a '07? The one I'm looking at has a VIN that does qualify for the recall, and may or may not have had the recall work done (it's a trade in vehicle with 12,000 miles on it at a local Honda dealership), but they can find out for me if I am serious about that car.

The car is awesome 99.5% of the time, and I haven't had issues since the recall (nor have I been to a track)

Well apparently they are trying to screw us on gas prices because we are making them do all this work for free. lol
My neigbors are gonna flip when they see this. Gonna say damn he got another freaking car!
k, stupid questions but i am a little confused after my first fillup after i brought my car in for the recall. I have had my car for about 6 months and average about 17.5 MPG due to the stop and go traffic i always deal with here in SoCal. Anyhow, after the slave cylinder has been replaced my MPG is now averaging 19.4. Driving habits are exactly the same. Any way that this could somehow effect that or am i just driving differently without realizing?
