Like I said before.. I really didn't have a plan to sell these but just made a set for my car. I am going to have them color matched for my ride so it will look pretty clean. You have no idea how expensive that tri stage paint can be.

Powder coating would probably be a better solution but I am just picky.
I think you shold go into production with this CAI! Sign me UP!

so, is the "problem" with a unit like stillens "long tube" version the fact they don't get the filters deep enough down in the fender? Even with the provided heat shields it's still drawiing in "underhood" heated air?

and of course the stillen price is absurd....but then again, fabricating one off pieces can get pretty pricey as well!

I shortened the CAI portion. Great for isolating it from heat but really didn't breathe well on the top end as you see the CAI actually lost power up top. So I shortened it and angled the filter element to receive the best airflow. Previously I had some dead spots on tip in that I didn't like which made me play with the maf housing height, filters, bends... End result I got throttle response back not to mention I think it is better than before.

Not green the color, Green, the brand. They are a high flow dry airfilter that is cleanable, but won't give you issues with your MAF or warrantee.
