i picked the black tubes because theres not that much chrome in our engine bay. The black ones will blend right in, and i saw the black fujitas installed and it looked very clean then the polishes ones. And i have a daytona blue z and i wanna do a black and blue color theme so the whole car matches very clean.

we'll know soon enough on the dyno validity. lots of people get all giddy over air intakes, and if injen sells them, they will come. and then more dyno results.

me personally, I'd rather see some before/after 1/4 mile results. same driver, same day. dyno drum racing don't mean a thang

Ill wait for dyno results and a price drop. There is no way I would pay nearly 500 dollars for intakes. Not to say they dont look nice. I would def go with black ones again.

Quarter mile times would definately be preferred. However, there are too many variables when dealing with this time. Driver error becomes a huge factor for a comparison that will probably go to the tenth of a second. Anyhow, dynos would be greatly appreciated

You know, if stock intakes make more power, tell that to these 400-500hp race cars. They are all about power

I ran the single intake on my 04. Didn't like much. Hard to clean ( due to having to remove bumper just to get access) risk of running water in them. Anywho, I now ran fujitas on 07 and they suck *****. If you love the roar of intakes, buy them. ITs the only benefit you'll get. BTW, for those that buy, install oem air box after a while and you will feel the difference. Nothing like stock. And if you have exhaust, really no point in having these. But to each his own.

why is it that everything you post is retarded? i dont understand. the stock intakes perform better because they are better designed at the HP levels people are making. obviously, if you make enough power then the intakes wont be so good anymore. those intakes that you show arent normal off the shelf intakes and arent normal off the shelf engines. stupid comparison FTL.

Note: that car is also running map instead of maf, which has been a big part of why a/m intakes dont make power and most lose. if you were running map on the HR, you might benefit from a/m intakes

He also has displayed a lack of knowledge for the VQ35DE too. In MRC's thread about the BC Stage 3 cams, he posted that anyone getting those cams should get aftermarket cam gears. Apparently, he doesn't know that there is no such thing available for the VQ motor.
