Default Injen Track Ti (Before/After Videos)

Just thought I'd share some before and after videos of the stock exhaust and my new injen exhaust. Stock cats in both vids, revved twice each vid. First rev was to about 4-5k, second rev was between 7-7.5k

stock
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/8QncxJfCjaY&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/8QncxJfCjaY&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

injen
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/LyN5J77cqc4&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/LyN5J77cqc4&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

I also have a quick question, the two pieces that are held together with the clamps (the section with the muffler and the section just before that), will it be fine if they are not inserted as far as possible into each other? One tip sticks out about a little less than an inche farther than the other and I'm trying to figure out why.

I see what you're saying. Stock has that nice distinct VQ sound thats especially noticeable on the higher rev. The sound it makes when you let the rpms fall is awesome, but stock was just too quiet/conservative for my taste.

Exact same problem I have. I'm fairly certain my tips are defective though, one is actually longer than the other

Don't the tips match the SMB so very well, though?

Mine was like that too.. So i just lined them up straight then tightend the clamps. Works fine, looks good, and doesn't leak.

I love the sound of the injen exhaust sounds really good in person.

Yeah I'm going to loosen the clamps and play around with it tomorrow. Seems like the right muffler is lower than the left simply because the pipe within the clamp needs to be rotated, and by pulling it out about half an inch it should even out the tips.

Sounds good, if I were to keep my Z id buy one. But I am sure they will make a exhaust for the next Z.

Nice post,
I like playing around with the vids and matching it at 0:14.
You really get a sense of the difference between stock and injen.

Any drone for you on the highway?

Yeah the highway driving is something I'm going to have to get used to. It's pretty loud inside the cabin slightly under 2k rpm. I can see it being pretty annoying on long trips, but it's not unbearable. The way it sounds otherwise and the way it looks more than makes up for the drone.

Theres alot of drone especially if youre going uphill. anything around 1800-2200 rpm drones pretty bad. But like Phenom said, its definately worth the sound it makes.
