considering their rep and past products, I dont think 8500 for a up-to 700hp twin kit is bad at all... def going to give this thought.

my race shop is looking into this for me tomorrow. i am hoping i can get a stand alone unit but we'll see what all they have to offer to me tomorrow. i will be going with the stage three kit. gotta love those gt30 turbo's.

i am getting the stage three for the future. right now or when i get it i will just keep the boost down on it. i am going to try and push close to or about 500whp on stock internals. i have heard from several groups that it can handle it safley. Greddy and procharger being a couple of them.

If All pans out I am hoping to have one of these by the end of my fall semester.. I found out my college trust will pay for off campus housing so ill just make sure to pay rent for the next 3 years lol. I would never be a trust fund kid but.... I figure if I use that money and take out a student loan it will make my credit score better.

you would do that just so you can have a turbo. Get done with school and then get whatever you want.

I did the same thing in the early 90's when I was in college (took student loans out to supplement my grants and proceeded to spend the money foolishly, including aftermarket parts for the Civic I drove). Now in my mid 30's, I've barely finished paying off all my student loans and have spent many thousands of dollars on interest alone. From personal experience, I highly recommend you do what 350Zimo suggests and just use your money for school.

why not just drive it up to GTM and let them do the install, you are so close to them, seems like the best way to go.

only problem is, once you add the downpipes, fuel system, EMS, clutch, and labor; you're looking at about $15k. I'm still going to do it I'll just have to wait another year before I can afford it

I believe Greddy should be out with their kit soon. Will probably be the same price as the current DE kit.
