Default Oil pan troubles!!!

I have an 08' Z and I am in the process of installing the AAM oil pan spacer. I am having a hell of a time trying to pull the pan off. I tried tapping with a rubber mallet and pulling guitar string through hoping to loosen up the seal.

Not a whole lot is working! I'm afraid to use the screwdriver too much in fear of marring up the mounting surfaces.

Any ideas or suggestions?!

I never tried it before but have you consider a blow dryer? It may sound like a long process but I assume it would get the job done.

You need to pry it. It will take some work, but be careful to not damage the seating surface.

If they don't make an HR specific oil pan spacer, are all the oil pans the same?? For example could I buy an APS oil pan for my HR 350Z?

just use a thin paint scrapper and hammer it thru.
