Default Y-pipe

I'm so sure but but I think I saw O2 sensors on the Y-pipe when I install my mufler last night.

can you please tell me i'm right or wrong.

because I'm looking to buy Y pipe for my Z to eliminate the cat.
And I don't see any of them come with the O2 bung.
So if 02 are really on stock Y-pipe when i get aftert maket what should I do?

Or may be just tell I was high last night.

thanks

The 02 sensors are on the cats right behind the y-pipe. If you want to delete your cats, just get test pipes or high flow cats.

It will only fit if you have 03-06 headers on your 08 which do fit only if you have 03-06 cats.

So basically save yourself the hassle and just get 07+ cats. Either HFC like most people or you can get test pipes which are cehaper and give more power but wiht more rasp. I recommend Fast Intentions or Stillen.

I've heard nothing but good things about berk.

only thing is they dont make resonated test pipes so I'm assuming thats why people tend to stray away from them

But if your looking for HFC's then I would take a look at the Berks as well

I would stay away from Berk. They recently lowered there prices becasue their stuff is welded in China(I think). ANd their WAS a huge thread on MyG37.com about everyone's BERK HFC's failing. I'll look for it and get a link for you guys to read if you wish.

EDIT: So i looked for about 20 mintues and couldn't find it and it's very odd cause i remember reading it and it was at liast 8 pages at teh time. I guess the person who posted it erased it? Sorry about that. But here is the process that BERK uses. They get their test pipes welded in China and get them shipped over here. Then they sell as many test pipes orders as they wish and whenever they want to sell HFC they cut the test pipe and weld in the cat in the US. I would just stick with Fast Intentions or Stillen as they are both very high quality and 100% made in the US.
