Default Bogging - stock car.

I bought my Z w/ 12,000 on it a few months ago. I'm at 18,000 right now, and the car started bogging/hesitating today at seemingly random RPM ranges.

It happened down low, gave it gas, no revs, then all of a sudden it'd 'catch' and move forward. Happened in the mid-range, and I didn't push it up high. I don't have any CELs yet, but I am very confused. Any ideas as to what it could be?

I was thinking clutch as well- but would that really be a cause of hesitation? During the .5-1.5 seconds of hesitation, the engine doesn't rev any higher, even if I floor it. If it were a clutch issue, it would rev, but not go anywhere- right?

Could be a dirty maf sensor. I'd buy a can of maf cleaner and see if that works. (and you can use the maf cleaner to clean other parts if it doesn't work lol)

So I have an appointment scheduled with Passport Nissan (Alexandria for the mid-A guys) for 11 AM tomorrow. I have a feeling the car is going to be perfectly fine, and that they won't be able to reproduce any problems, which is always how crap like this works, lol. So I'll run through the checklist tomorrow. So far I have:

Air Filters
MAF Sensor Unplugged / Clean it
Check fluid levels
Compression Test

Clutch

Last Resort:
Do TPS and idle air relearn procedure as specified in the FSM
throttle body reset procedure

And, where is the MAF sensor located? And how exactly do I clean a sensor without damaging it?

Thanks

There are 2 maf sensors on the hr motor. They are located in the intake tubes behind the air filter housing. Unscrew them and spray them with mass air flow sensor (maf) cleaner.
