Default 07-08 differences?

I've done some searching, and found nothing related...

What revisions, if any, were made from the 07 to the 08 models? Engine wise and overall? I'm assuming they are the same, but figured I should ask.

Reason i'm wondering is, I might be going after a new 08 instead of a used 07, just wondering if there are any other advanteges other than the obvious of a new car.

Dude just wait a few weeks and get the new 09 370Z. It's a better car in every aspect compared to the 350Z.

If you buy an 08 now that would be really stupid of you..

Not necessarily. He could easily get an 08 350Z for low 20's. Personally, I think it's a steal if you buy now, despite being an older model.

Low 20's? Do you have source of where the information is coming from?

plenty of people have said they've seen '08s on the lots for 24ish.. dealers are trying to get rid of them to have room for the 370..

07s had a clutch slave cylinder recall, also last year for Daytona Blue

08s are the only year with the San Marino Blue.

Other than that, no differences.

I believe San Marino Blue was available for '07, but Nogaro Red is new for '08 and replaced Redline.

Yeah i paid 23,000 for my 08. And you never wanna buy the first year of any car. There will be problems with the 370z just like they had with the 03 350z. With the prices about to drop on the 08 i would go for it. And it's a good one to own trust me.

Wrong. The SMB and DB were both available in MY 2007. But yeah, they're the same.

Whoops, I was always under the impression that SMB replaced DB in 08, sorry for the wrong info!

Exactly, I can get a brand new 08 for $10,000 less than a new 09... That doesn't seem stupid at all to me, but its just my thinking.

Default Proud '08 owner

I got my '08 base 6mt with a few minor dealer packages for 26K. Compared to where the 370 is going to start, price point wise, I am extremely happy with my purchase. I can't recall the source, but I thought I saw that the 370 wasn't even that much faster, regardless of the 26'ish flywheel hp difference. After guys like me are all done throwing money into the aftermarket end of it, it's a clearly better deal to save money on the initial purchase so as to allow immediate or deeper aftermarket investment.
