Yeah, you're good! I just hate that when I got my HFC my bridgestones had low thread and wouldn't hook up for **** after 4k Rpm! And now I have hankook ps2 and they're worst! Great drifting tire though! But I haven't experienced the full kick of first gear yet..
If you looking for rubber check out the Vredestein's. Almost identical grip as my stock Bridgestones on dry and they are far better in the wet. Not to mention cheaper and about twice the tread life.

13:1 is spot on for a NA tune. Any leaner than that can get dangerous. FI applications are good around 11.5:1. If you are 12.0 to 11.5 then you can see some power leaning out your tune.
